Did you know that there are endless books, specialty programs, and tons of great materials, all at your fingertips at the  Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library? Just get your library card for access to an infinite amount of literature, magazines, and more—oftentimes for free!

The safety of guests at the library is of the utmost importance during this time, so the team shutters its doors from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a deep cleaning of common areas. The rest of the hours of the day are for exploring the shelves and quiet respite, along with the library’s popular community programs. There are new book clubs planned for January, along with courses in American Sign Language and certification exams to become a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).

And if you’re not ready to visit in person, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library website has a wealth of digital content and helpful services you can take advantage of from the comfort of your DC apartment. Visit the website to see what’s planned for this month, or to sign up for your library card.
