The holiday season will be here before you know it, and with it comes the annual ICE! events at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. Scheduled to run from November 15 to December 30, ICE! is an indoor holiday extravaganza featuring dozens of ice sculptures expertly prepared by artists hailing from Harbin, China. And of course, there will be multiple ice slides that have generated rave reviews from the elementary school set for years. This year’s sculptures will take on a distinctly Seussian theme–the Grinch and the Hoos in Hooville will be carved in life-sized proportions.
Located not far from your pet-friendly apartment, the entire facility is chilled to 9 degrees to preserve the slides and sculptures, so remember to dress warmly and stop by the hot cocoa stand if you need to warm up a bit.
