There’s a lot to love at Junction Bakery & Bistro, and it all starts with the fresh bread and baked goods. Stop in for coffee and a scone or enjoy a hearty sandwich on a freshly baked roll. There are plenty of other options as well, like salads, soups, and brunch dishes served every weekend. Their signature toasts feature hearty slices of their breads with toppings that range from the sweet house jam to savory smoked salmon. A bar selection of beer and wines round out their menu, and they also serve pressed juices from Grateful Juice Co.

The Washingtonian named Junction Bakery & Bistro as one of their best new restaurants in 2017, and The Washington Post named their General Tso’s Cauliflower as one of the 40 most essential restaurant dishes in DC that same year. Junction Bakery & Bistro opens bright and early at 7 a.m. seven days a week, and is conveniently located on Mount Vernon Avenue with plentiful free parking in their adjacent lot.
