Be a part of living history when you attend the Evening Parade at Marine Barracks. This longstanding tradition began in 1957 and remains to this day a moving display of professionalism.

There are no theatrics during the Evening Parade. The Marines adhere to strict regulations and the traditional drill routines that they have been practicing since their inception. Parades are held every Friday during the summer, now through August 24, and feature the United States Marine Band, Drum and Bugle Corp, Color Guard, Silent Drill Platoon, and more. The parade prides itself on the ceremonial and disciplined nature of the Marines’, and the musical prowess and achievements of the US Marine Band.

The parade begins at 8:45 p.m., but all guests should arrive no late than 7:45 p.m. to maintain their seat reservation. The Evening Parade is free and open to the public, but reservations should be made in advance. Be sure to reference the website for all the particulars on gate entry and security precautions.
