Starting on September 15, the hit comedy Native Gardens will open at Kreeger Theater. If you're a fan of live theater, you'd better hurry to reserve your tickets, as this play promises to sell out quickly.
Directed by Black Robinson, "Native Gardens" explores the rewards of putting down roots in your local community as well as the tensions that arise when well-meaning, but very different, neighbors have to rely on each other for support. The show itself is generating plenty of buzz, but don't forget that visiting Kreeger Theater can be a real treat, too. This DC venue (which is part of the renowned Mead Arena) has a reputation for excellent acoustics, thanks to its unique fan-shaped performance space, with 500 seats that wrap around the stage itself to give theater-goers a truly intimate, one-of-a-kind experience.
