The Gabriels, a three-play cycle at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, chronicles a year in the life of one family dealing with a particularly tense and historic election year. The family reunites at three different points across the year 2016 in three unique pieces titled Hungry, What Did You Expect?, and Women of a Certain Age. Written and directed by Tony Award winner Richard Nelson, the highly acclaimed trilogy exhibits how politics affects the family.

All three plays can either be experienced in a full-day weekend marathon or seen individually on different nights. Tickets for the full-day marathon are $120 and individual show tickets are $49. All marathon ticketholders can enjoy a 20% discount in the KC Café and Roof Terrace Restaurant. Each play in the cycle runs 1 hour and 45 minutes with no intermission. During the full-day marathon, there is a one hour interval between the first two plays and a two hour interval between the second and third plays.
