For an unforgettable summer experience, pencil in the Music at the Monument series event on your social calendar. This annual events takes place July 29 and August 5 at the National Sylva Theatre. This Darryl Haley Project is to promote healthy parks and people in the community, so bring the whole family or your group of friends out to enjoy fresh air and original tunes.
This year's musical acts include The Foundation Band, Taylor Davie Band, Dave Bass, Terrence Richburg, Phil French, and others. All performers are local musicians, veterans and city service employees, and each musical act also is a part of a program that embraces music as a form of youth development, communication, and in the treatment of PTSD.
This event is open to the public and free of charge!
